Biomass and heat trade statistics April of 2022
The value of the BWCS (Baltpool Wood Chips SPOT) LT index was 21.52 Eur/MWh. Compared to the March value, the index shows an 11 % decrease, while compared to the same period last year, the index value is 91 % higher.

Timber Exchange trade statistics April of 2022
In April, the State Forestry Enterprise (SFE) announced 73 auctions. They offered a total of 38,0 thousand m3 of wood products. Compared to March, the quantity of timber offered fell by 5% and amount of sold timber fell by 4%. The auctions were organized by 23 SFE units.

In the last few years, the heating prices in Lithuania appeared on a swing – after the record low prices in 2020-2021, the last heating season was the most expensive in the last 10 years.
